Ashley putting shoe for Adwin

Guess you would have read from all my entries about how naughty my Ashley is... But there are times when she's really sweet to the brother.... :D

Here's one, she's trying to put on shoe for Adwin... But when the going gets tough, she turn to putting on Adwin's shoe on her feet!! OF COS, it can't fit her BIG foot now! hahaha... And, Adwin is puzzled as to why his shoe is not on his feet!!

Both kids on sofa

Managed to capture some shots of my 2 musketeers on the sofa... 2nd born just love to stick around with jiejie, but sometimes he get irritated with her and will start to scream!! He loves to imitate what jiejie does, so you can see from the photos, when Jiejie is laying on the sofa, he will get onto the sofa & start to laze around... but due to the size of the sofa, 1st born would be screaming for help when didi gets up!! Haha....

Ashley FIRST art work!

We had sign up Ashley for weekend art class @ Chong Pang CC, known as the Pibilotti Art Studio... Her first lesson started on 8th Feb and I was with her during the first hour or so, cos she refused to be left in the class by herself. But lucky the teachers were really friendly and nice to her... so after an hour, my Ashley finally 'release' me from the class... hahaha...

I do see that she does enjoy her first lesson, cos it's really just coloring for her and she simply loves it!! And Teacher Le was teasing her, asking if she's a cow, cos she was pressing so hard on the markers... so I had been asking her if she's a cow after the class... she just find it so funny and keeps laughing...

This is her FIRST art piece from her first lesson of just scribbling and coloring...


She had her 2nd Art class the pass sunday... and was asked to make a mask... so teacher ask what type of mask she wanna make.... Ashley replied, I wanna make mama!! hahaha...

This is her art work, making mask using construction paper, no scissor involved, I guess it's due to safety reason and all papers are being hand-torn to the shapes and sizes required. And accordingly to Ashley, this is mama... :( do I look so bad??... hahaha...


Actually, Ashley is learning to spell her name on the mask, but somehow we can only see the 'ASH'.... cos she always run out of space to finsh her 'LEY'... and when that happens, she'll continue to write the 'LEY' in front of 'ASH' till it hits the 'A'... hahaha... And seems like she somehow also can't remember the spelling of her name!! :p

Yeah... I finally find the time to try my hands on Egg Tarts!!... hahaha...

ehm... would say they are edible.. but I find it abit too sweet, but WL say with the crust, everything just taste just nice... ehm... shall have a try on Portuguese Egg Tarts next time!! hahaha... :p

oh yes, my Ashley tell me they are nice!! hahaha... guess that's the most important part!! :D

Singapore Flyer

After our beach outing & dinner @ the Old Town White Coffee cafe, we decided to pop by the Singapore Flyer after it's long closure last year!! We had enjoyed the ride this time, especially after Singapore Flyer had been closed for like a month due to some technical issue and the Flyer had stopped for abt 7hrs with all capsules filled with people.

Anyway, we were happily taking pictures in the capsule since it's take off, Adwin had an accidental fall from the bench as I lost hold of him & I was feeling really bad cos the fall was quite bad & after his fall, I used my fist to hit on the floor and realized how painful it was for him!!



The night shoots taken this time was the best out of our 4 rides so far, cos the skies is cleared and the time we went on the Flyer was considered early, as you can see, the offices are still lighted up! hahaha...

Also, our expiry was extended till next year Jan or Feb, can't recall, which I feel is fair since we could not go onto the Flyer since it was closed during the Xmas and New Year!! Looking forward to more rides on the Flyer!! :D

Our beach outing

Have I told you Ashley loves to go to the beach?? She loves to build sand castle, especially after her first encounter with sand castle with WL's buddies at the Sentosa.

This is our first beach outing with Adwin... And initially he also seems to find the sand irritating cos once the sand got onto his hands, it's always there!! hahaha... after awhile he seems alright with them & he begins to sit on the sand!! But he feels scared when WL brought him to the sea, especially when the waves come hitting on the shore line, he would grab onto WL's pants!! & insists daddy to carry him away!!



And after the 2 hrs there, I realised my scalp is full of the sand!!! Which I find it irritating and funny, cos this is the first time it happened to me!! No wonder when I were cleaning Adwin up before leaving, there were lots of sand on his head when I used a wet piece of hanky to wipe on his hair!!

Adwin loves writing

Adwin loves writing so much... so long he got a pen/pencil in his hand, he'll be very happy!!

BTW, he is a left-hander, people had been telling me I can train him to use his right hand to write, but I feel it's ok and just let him be natural, I do not mind him being a left or right hander, so long he's comfortable using it.

It's amazing that he actually starts writing before he turns 1, which I thought is due much to Ashley writing as home. So now, we can see the siblings sitting on the writing table, each drawing on their own!! haha... I shall try to take some pics of them & post it here...

Adwin loves all kiddy rides

The above collage was created by MUA!!! hahaha... Cos I wanna show you how much Adwin loves all the kiddy rides!! Whenever we go shopping, & if he sees a kiddy ride, he'll immediately point to me just to tell me he wanna be on it!! Am ok if he just wanna sit in it... cos nowadays rides are very expensive!!! And if the ride is big enough to fit both, then I dun mind popping in the $1 coin just to let the ride move! hahaha... :p

Adwin at Playground

Adwin is exposed to the public playground much earlier than Ashley... Why? Cos when we bring Ashley to the playground, Adwin seems to show some interest and to WL, he'll just let him try on everything, so long to him he's safe...

Both my kids love the slides... as you can see here, no pics of Ashley cos I dunno where she had gone to!! hahaha... :p

CNY 2009

Our CNY is finally over... and me only starting to post our CNY pictures!! hahaha... pls forgive me lah... :p

This year, I had gotten both of them the traditional outfit for our CNY celebrations, but never had a chance to put on for Ashley. And she is getting fussy nowadays, refused to put on the clothes I had chosen for her, all her outfits are dependent on her mood for the day before you see them on her!! So I had a hard time getting new clothes for her this year, cos if anyone got them without her, 99% of the chance is she will not put them on, of cos, most of the time I can still find clothings which I feel she likes! cos am her mummy!! hahaha..

Anyway, here's what Ashley wore (outfit bought by my mother-in-law)... I had a hard time trying to coax her to put them up!! Putting on for adwin was a breeze... even for the cute hat (dunno wat u call tat!! haha...) he'll tends to forget something is on his head... hahaha... check out his braid!! hahaha...

Siblings holding hands....

This is the first time Ashley says wanna hold on to Adwin & go gai-gai...

It just look so sweet the siblings are able to do that now... And Adwin is actually very happy to be able to hold on to his jie-jie's hand and follow her... In fact, he'll always follow the jie-jie, even at home, if Ashley is writing on her desk, he would do likewise... but there are times where he does find his jie-jie irritating too! hahaha...

But one thing very funny is, Adwin will always try to 'hold' on to jie-jie's hand, but jie-jie is also trying to hold onto didi's hand, so initially you will always see both hands trying to hold onto the other... haha... and Ashley will always guide didi to hold in the correct position...

Finally hair cut for Adwin

here's my LOOOOOOONNNNNNNG overdue postings:

My proudest task is for Adwin to have his hair cut before the coming Lunar New Year!!

As I had a bad experience (can't recall how many months old was his last cut) bringing him to a hair cut, so this time, I decided to bring him to a salon for babies/toddlers... sorry, can't recall the name of the salon but it's located at Parkway Parade...

The moment we reached Parkway Adwin was sound asleep, so, we went to take a Q no for his hair cut... hoping to get his hair cut while he sleeps so as to reduce his cracky moments!!

And before the lady finished, he had woke up due to us moving his head around for a better cut.. but I muz say, the lady was really fast, which is something I had hoped for, so Adwin will not realised he's there for a hair cut!! hahaha...

Anyway, am very happy with the cut, which makes him looks so much neaty & fresher, all worth for the $20 paid!! :D

Our busy mummy....

Mummy says she had lots of back-log postings to post.. but no time to load the pictures... so hope she can squeeze some time to update our blog... :(

anyway... we had celebrated our CNY liao... today is oredi the 9th day into the lunar calendar...

Another thing which I dunno when it started off again...

I dunno if this is consider good or bad... Ashley everything also say, 'I want ma-ma'... meaning, she just wants ME, the mummy, to do it for her... Be it picking things up for her, changing, showering, bringing her to childcare, picking her up... that's the only thing that will come out of her mouth!! If anyone were to try to help, she'll scream 'I dun want you... I want ma-ma'... OMG... sometimes it does gets onto my nerves especially when I'm busy with Adwin... Hope this will end very soon, cos am feeling so tired attending to my 2 active + naughty + terrible + horrible kids... :(

And I'm getting so busy nowadays, trying to do some spring-clean for the house, as chinese new year is just around the corner, and I really mean AROUND THE CORNER!! 25 Jan is our new year's eve... so left with only 10 days!! And I've got tons of things of my list to be done... guess I may have forgo my sleeping time!! And when new year come.. u'll see a PANDA mummy handling 2 MONKEYS... hahaha...

My 2 sticky kids!!

Seriously, I have no idea when all these started...

Now, my 2 baobeis are sticking to me like GLUE!! If I were to go shower, BOTH would be banging on my toilet door, screaming ma-ma & CRYING... OMG... I find it funny & lost @ the same time... really dunno what had happened that both would have the same reaction!!

My guess is that, Ashley is doing what her bro, Adwin is doing!! She would ask me to carry her if am not carrying Adwin! She now would only ask for me after her toilet business! And everything is just "I want mama!!" OMG... am really lost now and I really have no idea when all these would end... At 1 point, am glad my kids LOVE me soooo much (*that's to look @ things in a optimistic way!!*) but at 1 point, I can't do my things cos I've to be constantly staying with them if they are around.... HELP....

Our Genting Trip

Ok, finally some time for me to update my blog...

We brought our 2 kids to Gentings on 31 Dec 2008, so had a different counting down to the new year in another country for the first time!!

As commented by WL when we reached Gentings, it's not as cooling as before, I guess it's due to the changes that took place there... Alot had changed since we were there, which was about 10 years ago!! Hahaha...

In fact, the coach ride was quite a comfy one, as we had upgrade the coach to a better one, can't recall if it's known as the Executive or First class category. But we love the leg space & we get to enjoy the movies, games & even massage chair!!

We had a hard time trying to walk from the Bus Terminal to our Hotel Resort, cos somehow the signs went missing at some point along the way & it seems like we had climb over mountains & hills before we managed to reach the hotel lobby!!

But overall, Ashley does enjoy the Gentings trip cos she really enjoy the arcade games, like the water gun shooting game, some ball games, as compared to those rides I brought her for.

Oh, & some updates on what their mummy & daddy did in Gentings...
- Mummy went for the Spiderman ride... ehm... it's a new thing in Asia, according to the signboard, but mummy find it ok only... but the headrest area was so smelly!!! hahaha...
- Daddy went for the Flying thing there, & had his first flying experience recorded on a DVD!! He does enjoy the flying, BUT had been complaining about the back aching for a few days... :p guess he's really OLD... hahaha... oh oh...

my nephew Caden

My 5mth old nephew is so cute that I can't resist but to post him pic here!! My sis had brought him to this photo session which makes him a sweetie in the pic!! Though he's as sweet as a boy in real life, but if he throw his tantrum, can be a real devil!! hahaha... :p

And my sis had just print this pic as a 8R Calender @ Harvey Norman.. it turns out sooooo nice, am full of envy now... :p

My jealous boy

Hahaha... this is so funny....

My nephew is also staying home now with my mum, who's helping me to baby sit Adwin. And today is their first day seeing each other for the whole day, & see the pic below!! Both babies are jealous of each other!! hahaha... both are vying for my mum's attention!! And her poor maid can only help to entertain the babies!!

My smart Adwin

It was Uncle Wei Zheng's wedding on 27 Dec (Sat)... so mummy had me & jie-jie dress up very prettily & smart, *tat's according to mummy.... She call me the Prince & jie-jie, the Princess! :D

In fact, mummy had made me the center of attraction that nite... Cos alot of uncles & aunties wanna take a pic of me... they say I look so smart & cute... Also cos, I was walking all over the grand ballroom... and mummy had a difficult time going after me... hahaha....

And mummy is feeling quite bad, cos now then she realised, she didn't take pic of my pretty jie-jie... hahaha...

04-Dec-2008 : 2nd born is down with HFMD & diarrhoea!! :( & jie-jie is staying @ po-po's house since 05-Dec till i recover... 

05-Dec-2008 : 2nd born learnt to say 'nai nai' when he wants milk... hee hee... 

15-Dec-2008 : First cruise trip for 1st born & 2nd born... Hooray... * & also first cruise trip for daddy & mummy on Royal Carribean Legends of the sea!!! :D
