3rd Baby writing his name

Daddy had been trying to reach him writing, be it his name in Chinese and English and some other words.  As he's not happy that his childcare is not giving him enough writing practices, especially after our last Parent Teacher meeting that his chinese teacher mentioned that the school just informed them to reduce writing practice for the children and focused more on teach and play...

Anyways, my son loves to write on white board with markers... as according to the teacher this requires less strength and all children enjoy it.. another mode of writing and drawing he enjoys is writing on this boggie board!

Here's a night of him practicing while everyone is asleep!!! He had the habit of doing homework when it comes bedtime!

It seems to show that he did remember the words being taught by the teachers, though not much practice is done in school, he's able to recognise many words and able to write them out when he's in the mood!!! Lol

2nd born fell in school again!

Am always afraid of getting phone calls from the kids school whenever they are in school!!! The last I had a shock was when he had a fall and fructured his arm when he was in Primary 1!!  And on this 28 Mar, I got a call from his school office, telling me he had a fall in school and his nail came off at about 7.58am!!! OMG... why is my son so accident prone?!?!

When I saw him in sick bay sobbing and not crying badly, I guess it's not a very bad fall, but seeing his bruises on his forehead and nose I thought otherwise again...

He didn't talk much, as usual, he does not talk or able to explain when he is being questioned... so all these will have to be later part when he's feeling better towards the evening time...

This is the initial wrap on his injured finger by the school.... I'll have to bring him to the doc after dropping Alvan to the childcare...

This is a gross photo of his raw injury... After the doc open up the wound for inspection,  I really had a shock of my life!!! First time to me, it must have been so damn painful!!! But he keep telling me it's not painful and refused to take any painkiller!!!  Seriously, I do not know if he's really a tough boy or he's just trying to pacify me or putting on a brave front as he's a boy and his self esteem is really high!

Doc did some clean up and dressing... And he was given 2 days MC with 2 weeks MC from PE... And he was pretty sad as he's not able to go for his CCA the next day!

Here's a pack of the dressing kit I got from the doc... lucky I saw he did the cleaning and dressing at the clinic as I need to do it for my son twice daily!

Here's a pic of his injury on the next day... seriously I may well be a qualified nurse if I were good in Biology and signed up for nursing course back then... Haha...  lucky am not afraid of blood and am able to clean his wound twice daily... I believe not everyone will be able to perform such a task!!!! :p  but being his mum, I guess I have to do it, else how to be his mum and protect him during their growing years???

His nail dropped off after 4 days and his wound looks better... now waiting for his nail to grow and he's on his way to full recovery!!!

His medical report for submission of insurance claim from the school!!

So, a word for my son...:
Son, please be careful in all things you do, mummy may not have such a strong heart when you grow up... I may not be able to take any such news of you falling down, either breaking yr arms or other part of your body, even nails! Mummy hope you will grow up to be a very strong boy and be careful in all things you do... mummy will always be here for you, always! Love you!!! Have a speedy recovery!

Adwin is 100 months old!

Another innovative idea by hb!!!! Hahaha... I remembered we were doing some random shopping at sun plaza SKP shop one Saturday and hb was just counting and thinking of how many 'months' old were the children... And he suddenly came to me and say, Dear, it so happened that adwin will be turning 100 months old in April this year!!! We can do a celebration!! And off he went to get this 100 candles! And my kids were soo curious who is turning 100 years old seeing his daddy buying this candles!

And I had got this Durianmisu cake for this mini celebration as he's now a fanatic of durian!!!

And see my birthday boy!!! He was sooo surprised that this 100 candle is for him and shy away when we sang the birthday song for him!!! Hahaha..

Like what WL posted on FB: "Not everyone can live up to 100 yrs old, but who says we can't celebrate our 100 mth birthday?"
