A visit to the Alive Museum

I was rather excited when I saw that those deals website selling deals for Alive Museum before it's official opening in June!!  As this was like the 3D Art Museum we went last year to Pattaya and we were having sooo much fun there and were really amazed with the photos effect.  As this new musuem will be opening in Suntec Tower, so I guess we can't expect too much of it but enough for the locals to have some fun till they travel overseas for a bigger scale of such 3D Museum!! :)

We bought the tickets at the counter and with the Family package, it's actually cheaper than getting from those deals website! Whew...  Anyway, we were pretty early when we reached as we were having our Staycation at MBS... :p

My kids taking their first shot next to the ticketing counter... Does it looks like they were at a sunny beach??

As usual, my super expressive kids!!!  Hahaha... My mum had a good laugh when she saw Ashley's expression and thought it does look real that she was exposing the lady's butt!! :o

Oops... daddy must be really thirsty.... :p

Don't get yourself too wet under the Merlion, son.... hahaha...

Wow!! My Ashley had became a Wonder girl!!! Ain't she heavy???

Oops... the black cat caught the wrong 'mouse'... hahaha...

My 3 darlings under the twilight...

ah... Was the baby naughter or my Ashley??

Yucks!! What are you doing with the elephant's trunk Adwin??

Hahaha... see my cheeky threesome??

Here comes the Giraffe!!

Only after this visit, when I realised there is also another Trick Eye Museum or exhibition at the Sentosa during the same time... Maybe we can check it out later... But this is a fun place to visit if you want to have some fun with friends or family!!!  But do visit during the weekdays, I believe weekends would be packed and it's not easy to pose with too many people around the place, as many spots were kind a bit too squeezy and visitors may need to be squeezed into a corner for others to have a shot, with no strangers in their photos!!!

Trip to Malacca during June holidays (part 2)

We decided to go to Mac for breakfast on the Saturday morning as we understand all Mac around the world served different food according to their culture. But I guess Singapore and Malaysia are neighbours so the food does not differ much... hahaha...

Here's my dose of cappuccino for the day and kids favourite hash browns..

Ashley enjoying her Mac breakfast!

This Mac got a small playground for their kids patrons,  so in my kids went... Ashley is always seen taking care of her 2 brothers...

I can't recall much what we did for that day... hahaha... only photos showing us having Mac breakfast... but I think we went shopping again at the mall behind this Mac outlet...

I did remember we went for Spiderman movie the next day, Sunday and was enjoying so much with the food and hot drinks we got from the stalls... And picture below were us having halal Taiwan food at the Mega Aeon mall.. everyone of us enjoyed the food here as well as the drinks!!

A selfie of me with 3 kids outside the Taiwanese restaurant!

The next day was our last day for this trip and we decided to pop over to the observation tower for some view of malacca!  Actually we had wanted to come over on Sunday but there was no packing lot available and too crowded!!

Here's a view of the surroundings while we were going up...

A truly different view of Malacca... never had such a good view of this small town this day... nice experience bah... ;)

A selfie of me and 2 boys... a cool place to stay in a hot day!! This is a air-conditioned tower... hahaha... we were seating on top of the air-conditioner getting the cold blast before we get under the hot hot sun again....

After the tower ride, we walked over to the small park behind, as there was an old train on display as well this air craft... the picture of the old train was in WL's mobile... so not able to show it here... :p  The 2 elder kids had a try on the trishaw ride here... a mini version though...  Ashley was the cyclist and Adwin the passenger... haha...

We went over to this Nonya restaurant for dinner after some walking for the day... all of us were sooo tired due to the hot hot weather...  this pic was taken before my Alvan took his nap!!

Food and price was ok, considering good and we finally got a taste of the nonya food here... been in Malacca umpty times, but never had the chance to try on the nonya food here...

This is the restaurant we went for, Nonya Suan, just next to the Parkson mall at Melaka Raya... easily located. And good thing is, it was not very packed when we were there and food were served pretty fast!!

A trying to be funny daddy posing with his back when I only wanted to took the pic of the opening hours!!! :(

And since its our last night stay before we head back home tomorrow, my Ashley requested for the Putu Mayam supper and her wish granted!!!

We headed home after our dim-sum breakfast the next day and WL decided to pop by the mall at JB, to get his 'things' and of course, this is another must go place, the black ball dessert!!! :)  And all these ends our Malaysia trip for our June holidays!! :)

My 2nd born had a fractured arm

I received a call from 2nd born school at around 11:30am today saying that he had injured his hand during his inline skating lesson. And the teacher asked if I would like to go over and bring him to the hospital or they called for an ambulance.  I kinda of shock when I heard about calling for an ambulance, so I told them I'll rush over and be there in about 20 mins.  But while I was packing and leaving my office, I decided to call the teacher up again and asked them to call for an ambulance so medical care can be given to 2nd born rather than waiting for me to bring him over. So I called daddy and both of us head over to KKH A & E and wait for my 2nd born arrival!

Upon seeing him I was shock to see that his right arm was pretty badly fractured.  There was an uneven bump close to his wrist. And he started crying hugging on to me. He must have had a bad shock too!! And lucky my sis, 2nd born's yi-yi rushed over after I informed her about it. As he had refused to allow the paramedics to perform any check or aid to his fractured arm. And he also refused to get onto the stretcher and ambulance!  At least with someone he knows, he managed to get onto the ambulance with his yi-yi.

He really had a super bad fractured arm as both the bones were broken and doc got to perform some procedure to make sure the bones are straight before putting on the cast for him.

He was given a jab to make him go into lala land so they can perform the straightening for him without too much of a trauma for him. And after about 20 mins,  he was being pushed out from the treatment room and place at the observation ward for the medication to wean off before we can head home. The picture below is him in lala land mode but with eyes wide opened. Abit scary state but at least we know he is in a stable and on the road to recovery stage.

He was being wheeled to my car. Initially he was rejecting the wheel chair but after me telling him that this is to prevent him from falling as his medicine just wean off and he may still be dizzy, he finally sat on it.  He hates being taken pic when he's not in his handsome mode so all taken secretly... lol..
I was trying to get him onto my car and wanted to take a pic of him and he was angry... showing me his leg!!! :p
Slept along our way home....

He is given 7 days MC and will need to go back for review on the coming Monday... just praying that he can have a fast and smooth recovery... A very brave boy indeed!!! So heart pain to see him crying in pain and suffering...

Kids fiesta at Nex - 26 Jun (Thurs)

I had wanted to bring my kids for some fun activities during their June holidays. And happened to see this ad running on TV and heard it from the radio as well, so I thought it had to be fun but was really disappointed when we reached. As it was really very small scale and there were no crowd when we were there...  and I really feel cheated as this fiesta was named circus carnival but nothing there was circus related except for the stickers and my children were asking me, mummy where is the circus?   But since we were there so we thought to have our dinner first before letting the kids have some mini carnival fun.

I guess the best part of this fiesta was the photo shot!!! Hahaha... as we were consider the last group of kids around so I requested the person there to allow my 3 kids to have a shot since I only bought 2 combo tickets for my 2 bigger kids... shall tell you why later...

Ok, the combo ticket was meant for the kid to complete 5 activities for the price of $10 or $12 (sorry I can't recall how much I paid for it since it was like 2 months back!! Lol) and my Alvan won't be able to complete the 6 activities, that explains the 2 combo tic bought!!

1. Face painting... Ashley's favourite now.. another frozen painting on her face...
My Adwin decided to have a bumble bee painted on his arm...
And I managed to pursuade my Alvan to do the same as a try too... hoping he can enjoy some painting g activity next time!!! Lol... And I only paid $2 for it... I think... lol...

2. Sand art... Alvan had no clue or idea about doing this...
3. Car racing... only thing Alvan is good at??!! Lol... trying his best to control the remote control and car with daddy's help!!

4. Rifle shooting... adwin's favourite... He was enjoying so much as it loads and the 20 bullets each load and he just got to keep shooting at the target! !! Cool...
5. The last activity was the photo shot.... which my 3 kids enjoyed!!! Hahaha...

We asked the children to try some new food, Korean food!!!  WL ordered this Ginseng chicken which was nice!!!

This was requested by my Alvan,  he had insisted on ordering this purple rice before we got a seat in the restaurant and he happily finished all the rice and teriyaki chicken!!!

Fried rice ordered by Adwin,  I think he had ordered a Kim chi fried rice and glad that he and Ashley enjoyed and finished it!!!

Adwin enjoying the mango frizzy drink!!

Happy us having Dinner of our choice and happy kids had their fiesta fun!!! A great thursday night outing and we need to get back home early to pack for our last staycation before the new school term starts!!!!
