My piano loving sons

Baby #3 started learning piano around Oct last year... he was quite reluctant to go for the lessons as he is a super shy boy and always afriad to be in a new environment.  Lucky, the new teacher is a motherly figure and pretty soft spoke, so he enjoyed his first lesson and progress very quickly... I am very impressed with his love for playing piano now... as he would be the first to be on the piano the moment he wakes up... and throughout the day, practising pieces that were not taught to him yet.  He will play all the pieces in the book on his own!  Even his teacher was impressed, saying he's very fast and most of the pieces he would say he had learned on his own at home!  And with his enthusiastic in learning to play, it somehow affected his brother!!! So now, my house is always filled with piano tunes throughout the day!! And baby #2 is getting so much better at it too!!! So glad the boys can play very nice tunes on piano... fulfilled my wish of having children playing beautifully on the piano!!

The 2 boys were also performing in the piano school year end concert last year on 29 Dec!  Super proud since baby #3 only started learning from Oct! And baby #2 pieces was very smooth and impressive!! Keep up the good work sons!!  Mummy is super proud of you 2!!

Warrior shoes

My 2nd baby had told me about this warrior school shoes last year, but I did not put to my mind to get it for him since I had bought a few pairs of Bxxx shoes for school.  And I always find velcro shoes are easiest to put on and since every morning to school seems to be always in a rush, so my reasoning stays! Hahaha...

But, since school started about 2 weeks plus, his old shoes were torn really fast due to the weekly washing and his power kicks during all his soccer time during PE. So, I thought to get his fav warrior shoes since its easier available from our neighbourhood shops at our market and seriously, it's much cheaper compare to the Bxxx brand which I had been buying since #1 baby starts going to school, which is about 8 years back!

And this day, we happened to have our lunch at a nearby coffee shop and I had ask him to go get us drinks! And so accidentally happened that an uncle in front of him spilled a drop or 2 of tea on his new shoes, he was really angry when he's back to our seat! And keep looking at the careless uncle and mumbling! Hahaha...

The moment he stepped into the house, he took his shoes and went into the toilet to remove the stains!!! Woah!!! Am super impressed!!!  And he even told me, am going to remove the stain myself, not going to let aunty do it for me!

So Son, pls continue this spirit as you grow so I can relax a bit on my household chores... hahaha... good work! Keep it up son! Proud of you!

Our active 1st day of 2019

I thought we can laze around on the 1st day of the new year... as we need to get up early for 1st day of school tomorrow.... but our active daddy decided to bring us all to cycle at east coast park!! Ended up we all had a super shiong cycling trip from ECP all the way to Marina Barrage!!!  The whole trip took us about an hour 40mins... we were all burned, perspired and drained when we reached our starting point!!  But I guess a good work out for us all on new year day... hopefully we can lead a healthy lifestyle for the year... to stay healthy is our goal!!

Oh yes... and I finally went for the famous bedok bak chor mee after cycling ... kids were not able to appreciate this version of the bak chor mee... hahaha... the last time I had it was on my ROM, can't remember which day exactly cos we had a BBQ dinner for our friends to celebrate ROM... hahaha... we always do things to make our lives busy! Lol...

Happy New year

Yes, Happy New year everyone!!! It's another new year ahead of us!!! Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous 2019.. all your wishes come true... everyone can find more time to spend with your loved ones and family, find time to do the things you like and enjoy!

This is another busy year for us, as our 2nd baby will be sitting for his PSLE this year... and baby no 3 will be in P2 this year... not too stressful for us as the new regulations for them is no exams!!! So instead of stressing the kids, MOE is stressing us parents!!

I really hope to find time to blog more, as I aged, I find myself looking back into my blog to find evidence of us bringing them to places they been when they were much smaller!!!  And it's really a joy to see what I wrote and photos that I had taken back then.... seriously, with such modern advance technology, blogging using our smart phones, taking photos with it, I can still find excuse of not putting in the entry!!! Horrible mum I am!  I still remember me carrying my canon camera back then in my handphone whenever we go... I still like those as I always have date stamped on it!  Unlike now, all our digital prints do not have a datestamp and I lose track of when those photos were taken!! Pretty sad...

But am glad I did 1 big thing before 2018 ends!  I managed to print about 500 pcs of photos in paper prints!! That's just for about 2 years of prints... still have many photos waiting to be printed out... it's a joy to see them going thru my albums and laughing about it...  and I even wondered how did I managed to do so many things with my 3 babies... they really grow up really fast... now whenever I see parents holding on to newborn, it looks so long ago that my 3 babies were in my sling and arm.. lucky my 3 babies are still sticking to me now... can't imagine when they found their better half, leaving me at home... sound sad... but I guess that's life... and imagine how my parents felt back then... :(

Another big thing I did before 2018 ends is to bring my 3 babies, my mum and my sister and her 2 babies to Korea!! A first no man trip for us!  3 aunties braving thru a cold cold winter with 5 children!!! Hahaha... I believe all of us will never forget this trip...

My resolutions for this new year? No... this year no resolutions ... I decided to do my best in everything I decided to do...  do what I feel is important at that point of time... try to read more!?!  Try to blog more!! Hahaha...  try to motivate my kids to learn more and do what's  best for them!!  Cook more interesting food!!!
