Mint museum of toys

We finally got the time to visit this place!! Again, this was a impromptu decision as we just saw the sign board after leaving the central library last Sunday!!  But am surprised the entrance was pretty ex... Total for our family of 5 was $30+ after a 25% discount due to NTUC card member (PA card and amex card applies too!)

I must say, it's a pretty small place and with 5 stories high, one would take at most an hour or an hour and the half to finish everything!!  The toys here were really 'old', about the age of our grandparents and toys played by them! Hahaha... So pretty much were like alien to us!! But I did have a good time there.... Cos those toys on displayed can no longer be found anywhere now... Of cos, the museum is selling many replicates of the ancient toys!! And I had a good time getting some back, finding time to amuse my kids with them!! Haha....

Ok lah, this a a toy we used to play when we were really young.... The boxing hand puppet!! In which we can control which hand to 'spring' out the punch when we are playing with one another! But these can't be found now... Maybe in some rural parts of Malaysia or china? Not too sure... But it's definitely a very fun and interesting toy!

I was really amazed at the stated estimated value of some if the ancient toys!!  Can't they really fetch that amount??

And my baby was so busy admiring those toy cars he saw on display here... Haha... Am super sure he would climb into one if its not in the display box!! Lol...

Totally ignoring the korkor taking a picture behind him!!

The Mickey Mouse from the past.... This is something baby recognized the momen he sees one!! Lol...

A mega big hopscotch on level 3!!

My Adwin with the ultra men!!

And my baby wondering why is daddy taking a photo with a funny looking uncle!! Lol...

Taking photo with some funny looking batmobile on display behind the cabinets!! I know my nephew, Caden, would say that's not the batman's batmobile he knew!! Haha....

My baby super amazed with the skylight under his foot!! Wondering how come there's people and merchandise below him!! Haha... He just kept on walking on it with great care and trying to figure out what's going on.... Haha...

And this is something we know from young!... Uncle darkie!!! Only changed the name to Darlie about 20+ years ago... Haha.... Anyone finding this familiar??

Now comes the shopping!! There's a mini shopping area at level 1 and my kids were so busy trying out all the toys they saw there... Including mummy!! Hahaha.... I got no time for photo taking... And lucky WL took this!! Haha.... And I got some toys back which am really happy with!! :p. and the lady told us, theses replicates are really limited as their boss had bought over all of these when one of the last factory in china wind up!! Factory winding up so no more winding toys for sale!! Lol...

Maybe we should go toy hunting at the malacca's jonker street comes this weekend when we are there for a short vacation!!
