Baby self feeding photos!!

I finally managed to capture many shots of Alvan self feeding his own dinner!!!!

Scary find in my washroom!

I had a horrible scare when I saw a centipede in my washroom after my shower yesterday afternoon!!!  I was trying to fill water into Alvan's bathtub and spotted a centipede at the corner!! I got a shock and started splashing it with water, but it was still trying 'swim' away... And suddenly realized, I should use hot water!!! And it died after 2 splashes of hot water!!! Whew... But I seriously got no idea how it went into my washroom!!!!

Baby Alvan started self-feeding

This is the 2nd day, Alvan would run up the dinner table, get onto his seat and started to feeding himself his plain rice!!!  It's just sooo funny, it started only yesterday, he wanted to self-feed!! I know he's trying really hard to send the rice into his mouth, but somehow he's not able to get it straight, his rice would drop on his shirt and lap as he's not able to control the angle of the spoon into his mouth... But he's doing a super great job!!! He would finish up all his food, eat everything I gave him. And once done, he would get off the table!! Once fruits are being served, he would come over for his servings!! It's such a joy to see him eating so well!!! Hope he's able to put on all the weight he lost last week due to the horrible stomach flu virus!!! 

And he's also been eating bread like drinking water starting from this week!! He can finish 2-3 pieces of white bread at one serving!! And be super happy and started asking for more again!! Am really afraid he would get too full, so always stop when he's done with the 2nd or the 3rd piece, at most!!

Yet to be able to capture a few shots of him self feeding as am always busy trying to put more veg and fish into his bowl and trying to 'catch' those rice that may drop from his spoon before it gets into his mouth! Hahahaha...  All the way to go baby!!!  You are doing such a great job and mummy is super proud of you!!!

Baby Adwin loves cars too!!

Went through some old photos today on my laptop and found evidence of my Adwin, playing with cars too when he was still young... should be about the same age as Alvan now... about 19-20 months old...

All these photos were taken by my mum-in-law as they were found in her used mobile phone, in which she had given to the kids to play with...  And, it so happened I saw a SD card in the phone and pop into my computer to see if there's anything stored and ta-da... all photos of my kids! Lol....

A day out at Changi Airport

WL had been pretty stressed when it's Ashley's exam period... Like last year, he would draft Her a timetable to follow and needs her to finish up some assessments till the day of her exam. And same for this year, he gave her a timetable to follow and I find it tougher this year as she was unwell for 2 days and she's not able to fully concentrate at home, always asking us to bring her over to AceGuru and asking to be picked up late...

So, WL though to bring her out on this Sunday, trying to see if we can find a place where she can be inspired and focus on her work...  That's why we had this Changi airport outing!  We chose to come by T2 as we know there's no place for her to sit down and do her work in T3, as it's mainly for shopping. As we have yet to have our lunch, our first mission is to find a place to eat! And we happened to spot this Souperlicious when we popped into the departure hall of T2. And since they have soups, sandwiches and pastas on the menu, we decided to give it a try! And so glad we chose this place,cos inside the cafe/fast food restaurant, about 80% were filled up by students studying there!! So, we decided to stay put till the kids got their work done!! Heehee....

But I have to say, their food is not fantastic, if not for the fact that we can stay there for the kids to do their work, I wouldn't be here!! :p

And I was lucky to be able to finish my late lunch peacefully as baby was napping!!  But I would have to get him a decent lunch when he's up!!

Lucky for me to have found this place, heavenly wang cafe when baby's up!!! As they served noodles and hot drinks here!!  So, I ordered a fish all noodles and hot milo for baby, thinking I would need to help him finish up the food, but I was totally wrong!!! He managed to finish about 90% of the food!! And I had only 1 fishball while he had 3, and I finished up the beanspouts and only 2 mouthfuls of noodles for him!! He really ate a lot!!! But for milo, he only had less than half, which am glad cos it was really too sweet for him!!!

After the kids are done with their work, we decided to pop over to T3 for dinner!! So took the sky train over... But baby here looks abit scared... Lucky Ashley had been hugging onto him which helps to calm him a little...

As Deepavali is round the corner, so there's some decor at T3...  My 3 precious...

I really liked the hydrangea here.. Very pretty as it reminds me of the bouquet I had for our ROM... Hee hee... It's our 10th anniversary this year... So fast!!!

Can you see the peacock here??!! It's on display at the departure gate of T3!! Very pretty and creative!!

And we ended our evening trying out the tallest slide here at T3!! They had implemented the free slide redemption if you spend at least $10 in a single receipt! And our dear papa, threw away all the receipts after he's done with the lucky draw!! So the kids were really disappointed till a young lady gave us 6 tickets when she overheard the kids not able to try on the slide and we didn't have any receipts to redeem!  So the kids had a super fun time twice on the slide, including once for WL and I!!  For me, it was really fast and long!!!  Stretching from Level 1 till B3!!! Whohoo!!! Am sure the kids will go for this the next time we go T3!!! Lol...

Baby loving Meiji fresh milk

First time for me to capture his smile.... I had a started giving baby Meiji fresh milk about 2 months ago... As my supply is dropping drastically, so am afraid he's not getting the required nutrients, esp calcium, I started letting him try the milk in cold state and he loved it instantly!!  The 2nd time I heated the milk, he refused totally! Hahaha... But slowly he's taking it warm... But he's given Pediasure chocolate flavored milk during day time at my mum's place... So far, his korkor and him are ok with Pediasure chocolate, not other milk powder... So hopefully he's able to transit into milk powder when he attends childcare next year!

See him happily drinking the milk from the sipping cup! Sooo happy to see his smile.... :D

Baby Alvan's new hair style!

The last time baby shave his hair was when he was 4 months old!!! And this time, decided to shave him again as he was seen scratching his hair and many times, I can see sweat on his scalp through his thin thin hair...

He really looked different this time!! Looks naughtier now with his 'botak' head! Lol.. And naughty korkor Adwin, calling him botak boy!! And I had to threatened him that I'll have his hair shaved the next time I bring him to the salon if he continues to call his didi botak head!! And it did work!! Haha...

And WL said baby was member of F4 before the cut and became Ah boyz to men after the cut!! :-/  saying baby looks more like a new recruit now with his dog tag!! Argh...

And my mum, his popo kept saying he looked sooo much cuter and different and first time for her to request for a photo to be taken for her!!!

Oops!! Forgot to mention he's 22.5 months old now!! :)

Ashley's message to our helper!

Ashley had been writing her breakfast list to our helper... That's when I wrote on the whiteboard for our first helper telling her what to do daily... And she thought its fun and started doing that but been a long time since she done it again...

I took cos I find it so funny saying, if I kick you... As Ashley got a bad habit of kicking when someone woke her up in early morning!

She's 8yrs 3mths as of this message.... Lol...

Our another beach outing

Lol... Yes, another beach outing for us... The kids just love going to the beach, but it's very far for us and so far, we only like going to this beach, though there are still a few others around this small island.... But we thought this is the best so far, with our favorite restaurant within walking distance and nice place with decent crowd.

My baby totally enjoy himself but he has yet to learn that he can't rub his eyes or mouth with his dirty hands!!

This time round, WL managed to find a shower place for the 2 older kids to shower before we head for our dinner... All along, I would shower them at the side with my brought along warm water, but not now, since Ashley is a bigger girl who should be taught of not exposing herself in public!

Anyway, hope to have a picnic with Ashley's child care friends soon, as she had been bugging their mummies to find time for a picnic!!  My super friendly daughter!!

Can't resist how cute my niece, Dora (yes, that's her real name!), looks after my sis got her this head gear!!! I would have let my Ashley wore one if I saw one during her time!!

Watercove Adventure Park - Sentosa

Ok, as usual, this one of my overdue posting again... too many pictures for me to upload, so gotta find time to do some collages so I can post onto my blog... :p

Ehm, let me try to recall when we went to the Adventure park.. should be a day during the 1 week September break... Let me check back my photos... hahaha... Ok, it's confirmed 10 September!! Lol...

It was an impromptu decision to go as Adwin's childcare was closed for a few days due to some training for the teachers, so WL thought to go since it was also the 1 week break for Ashley and him... As for me, I just need to call to my dad to report 'missing' from work!! Hahaha... alright, so WL bought us the tickets the night before the outing for the next day... And I guess it was a pretty bad decision, as it had been raining for the past few days and it didn't cross our mind to just go there and get the tickets on the day, depending on the weather!!  Anyway, WL bought it and the tickets had to be used on the date stated on it... And before we left the house, the sky got pretty dark and along the way, it was raining!!! OMG... I was really soooo worried, as am really afraid my kids may fall sick after this outing!!

By the time we arrived, it was drizzling... so we still had to go ahead with this outing... so we changed and went into the 'river'?  Whatever, I can't recall what was that, but we just need to get those mega big floats and flow along...  Along the way, we stop by some attractions, there's the sunami waves, follow by the Rainbow reef and some aquariums along the way... It was raining heavily when we were at the first stop, the surnami waves... horrible... and my baby was quiet along the way with his head tilting to one side.. hahaha... Luckily, by the time we were at the Rainbow reef, the rain got smaller..  WL had wanted the 2 kids to follow him into the reef, doing some snorkelling, but the 2 kids refused, so off he went alone... And, I had wanted to try after him, as I need him to look after the kids, but failed to do so, as I had difficulty breathing through the equipments given, had a few mouthful of super salty water!! Sucks...

By the time we were done with the mega river, it's almost lunch time!!  And I was pretty hungry and thought to settle lunch there and let baby take his nap!! But my fussy Adwin refused to lunch in his swim suit, so off he went for a short shower!  There wasn't much restaurant inside the park, so had to settle with some simple lunch...  Luckily, everyone had something to eat, especially for baby, french fries! Hahaha... We found the mega water play around for the kids near the restaurant area, and had to walk back to the locker, as my dear Adwin need to change back into his swim suit before he can join in the fun with jiejie & daddy!!... And it was nap time for my baby!!!

Here's some pictures taken by WL while I sat at the side doing nothing with my sleeping baby!! Haha... the 2 had sooo much fun they refused to leave!! Lucky for them, the weather was much better after our lunch, so they enjoyed alot there!!

Along our way to the exit, we saw the Shark exhibit area, and my kids were amazed with the big tank of sharks and varities here *forgot to take a picture of it! Hahaha... *  But my baby is more amazed with the other tank full of smaller fishes as compared to the sharks!!  Till then... this wrapped up our day at the Watercove Adventure Park!!!  Bye!!! :)

Phang firemen!!

I got a family of funny people at home!!  Due to the outbreak of the horrible virus at home, we had been home for the long break (Hari Raya Haji PH) and I guess it did make us all went crazy!!  The Phang guys decided to be Firemen for the day!!  Surprised even my baby joined in the fun! Hahaha.. Where was I?? I think I was in my room sleeping??

My busiest day!!

Hahaha... I was sooo amazed with myself on this day...

As usual, I need to get up at 6:30am to send Ashley to school on normal weekday... And I decided to go market after sending her, my only intention was to buy fish, as my freezer is running out of fish! So off we went (my Alvan got up early today) with just $60 in my pocket!! 

While I was at the veg store, I saw some really nice Japanese pumpkin and decided to get some to make my pumpkin kaya!! So this was my impromptu item for the day!

And I need to leave from work early today as I still have my Ashley's change of clothes with me!!  As I found her school bag really heavy and offered to send her change of clothes to AceGuru for her, but little did I expect the center to be not yet opened when I was there at 8:30am!

When I got home at about 3:30pm, I need to start making my kaya, else the kitchen would be too busy for me to step in when its dinner time!

And after dinner, I thought to finish up my 3 super riped bananas baking cakes! So another impromptu decision to make banana cakes!!!  Same as previous, I had made 3 varieties, purely banana cakes, banana cakes w Choco chips ad banana cakes w walnuts!! My WIP cakes...

And after I sent my cakes into the oven, I realized I got no bread for my kaya for my breakfast the next day!!! OMG... And all stores are closed for the day, as its already 10pm!!! What to do!? Bake my own bread!!! Hahahaha...

What an interesting day!!! Hahahaha.. And my helper was laughing and commented you are sooo busy!!! Hahaha... Well, that's me!!! :p

Alvan's new hobby!!!

See my Alvan monkey?!!! This is something new... He would always, without fail, hang onto the bar in the lifts of ALL lifts he got in!!! And he would stand still if someone is inside! Hahaha... Super funny!!!

Baby's new toy : Mr Pencil!

Daddy went shopping at Toys R Us one day and came back with a new toy for baby!!! As he likes to write, so daddy thought to let him try writing with this stylus pen on our iPad!!  And of course, we need to download this app onto our iPad before he can start playing... Though its a free app, you really need this 'pen' before you can start playing the app!!! As like other apps, there's many levels they need to clear and unlock before they can proceed further! Smart!!
