First visit to JB Hello kitty, the Little Big Club and Legoland!

This is another super overdue post!! We went to the theme parks in JB during the boys' birthday, ie 11 to 13 dec 2012.

We had planned for this trip for a long time, hoping the kids would enjoy the parks and booked the resort stay since last quarter of the year! But things always happened unexpectedly!!! All the boys and man in the family had food poisoning after our visit to the Hello Kitty and the Little Big Club! What a wasted trip! And to make things worst, my baby fell from the bed and knocked on his forehead, giving him his first 'Lu ku' after he turned 1!!!

Overall, Hello kitty is not worth visiting, as its really small, maybe the size of the Popular bookstore at Causeway Point! And there's only 1 ride inside, long queues for all the workshops and we were only allow one visit to the house of Hello Kitty!

The Little Big Club is more fun for the kids, having more rides and a big indoor playground for the kids! Another plus point is its air-conditioned!!! Haha...

After a fun filled day, we checked into the resort and went for dinner at one of the restaurant there. And it was at about 10pm that night that WL started to puke! After a night's rest, we had thought to proceed with our Legoland visit, but no, Adwin started to feel lousy and he also started to puke a few times and diarrheal! And later I realized, my baby also got diarrhea! So, the day was spend practically resting in the resort room!! But till dinner time, I was almost bored to death and decided to bring the kids and my helder to the nearby mall, Taman Universiti for dinner and some shopping!! And my adwin had a super boring and disappointed birthday!! Had thought to treat him to his favorite sushi dinner for his birthday, but turned out, the restaurant said they ran out of tamago!! OMG!!

SEA Aquarium at RWS

Finally, found time to visit the aquarium!!! It was packed with people on a Sunday afternoon! Didn't know that the NTUC plus card is entitled to some discount on the entrance fees! As the aquarium is just below the Pirate of the sea museum, so the entrance fee is for the 2 place of interest!

Personally, I feel this aquarium is just like the underwater world in sentosa, maybe the variety is more here, other then this, I really can't tell the difference between the 2! :p a waste of money right? Haha...

Maybe the good thing about this aquarium is that the 'aquarium' is much bigger here therefore allowing visitors to have better view!

We managed to catch the big octopus in action!! It was really huge and as it was hiding under some stone and it was not easy to spot him!! Lucky for us, the staff of the aquarium used a stick to make him move up so we can catch a glimpse of him!!!

TCC at the Marina Cove

Been years since we went there... The last time we were there was when Adwin was barely 1 year old!!! And now, Adwin is already 6 years plus!!! Time truly files....

The place still looks the same to me, maybe a few more restaurants being opened there... The Japanese one, which I dun remember seeing it!! I only managed to bring Adwin to the marina area for some photo taking.

Food wise, personally I feel they are ok, not very fantastic but nothing to rave about. Dessert is abit too sweet for me, but the kids refused to eat... Maybe there were too tired after visiting the SEA aquarium at RWS! As Adwin was falling asleep and we had to drag him up to TCC for dinner before heading home!

Baby eating strawberries on his own!

My baby is hitting so many new milestones recently!! He's really growing up too fast!!! Am really lucky to be able to witness all these first hand this time, unlike Ashley and adwin's time, most milestones were told to me by my mum, whose my babies caretaker before they attend childcare!

I was feeding him initially till about half the strawberry in which he insisted on holding the strawberry on his own. After stuffing the first strawberry into his mouth, he request for another helping! So his first try on strawberries, 2 at one go!!! Way to go baby!!!

Baby climbing up the chair on his own!

At 15.5 months old, my baby is so adventurous that he took a chair and started climbing and standing on it!! He was happily clapping hands when he stood up right on it!!! Meaning another milestone for him and another headache task for all the adults!!!

Lol... My adwin boy is another funny one!! See him snapping away at night when all lights are off!!! He came and tell me, mummy, see what I shot?! This is happy, and this is angry and last is sad... Haha...

Baby trying to climb up the sofa on his own!

Baby had been moving very actively since he knew how to walk on his own after he turns 1! And recently he had been running too! Yes, running at 15 months old!!

And now, he's attempting to climb onto the sofa!! See the pictures? Screaming when he failed!! Haha... That's my baby!! :)

Lunching under the hot sun!

We decided to take our lunch at the Secret Recipe at PS before popping by the SEA Aquarium at RWS, also due to the $30 voucher received from the Diners credit card for first time applicants!

We were really eating under the hot sun when the sunroof of PS is directly under Secret Recipe! We were glad when the clouds covered the sun, at least we do not have to eat under the glaring sunlight!

We were really happy to be trying our a slice of their new durian cheese cake! It was yummy! Very smooth and you can taste both the durian and cheese! A nice combi!

And WL was pretty pleased with their fried Tom yum dish, I cam recall if its a kway tiao or bee hoon!! Haha... Overall, the dishes for us, the adults were ok, but not so for the kids... The 2 siblings had ordered their spaghetti and were pretty disappointed with it, both could not finished something they liked all along... And after trying, WL said their sauce was too herby!

Baby caught playing with his feet

These few shots were taken when I accidentally caught baby playing with his feet when he's alone in my car on our way back home to pick Ashley from school! He loves to explore his feet and sometimes trying out the taste of his feet!!! Hahaha...

Another proof of my lazy baby...

I just can't resist taking photos of him doing funny things!! He super loves to use his mouth and bite on things and move around!!! As though he's performing in a circus!!! See another performance from him!!! Biting onto the toy pot cover and walk around with his hands busy with other toys!!!

Ashley's hair cut!

Finally got Ashley to cut her hair!!! As she had stopped her ballet since last year May, so we are not able to produce any letter from the dance school that she is required to keep her hair long for some ballet exams, so gotta cut it short!!! It's neater for her and easier to maintain as she alway refused to comb and tie her hair, which is irritating me and WL to see her messiness!! So, we will need to bring her for regular hair cut now till she joins either Chinese dance or wushi as CCA in school that she be allow to keep her hair long again!

River ang bao 2013 - year of the snake - 2nd visit

Well, it's always our tradition to visit the River Ang Bao twice a year! Haha...

Anyway, the kids, or rather Adwin, was telling me that he wanted to bring his po-po here to see the nice lanterns since he brought his ye-ye and nai-nai here during the eve of CNY. So I told him fine, we will go back and ask if po-po is interested.

So, here we are again, on the last day of the River Ang Bao, with his po-po and cousin Caden!! It's their first visit to such River Ang Bao, they were fascinated!!!

The kids had so much fun with all the rides and Caden refused to leave though its already 11pm that night! And he was so angry with his 姨妈妈 that he said these:
Caden: I'm going back to ask my daddy and mummy to bring me here again, dun bring you!
Me: ah? But I brought you here to have fun with all the rides one leh...
Caden: no, dun wan to bring you here!

And, he had refused to take a picture with his horoscope animal, the mouse! Till Ashley and Adwin said to join him in the shot! Poor boy... Haha...

And the kids ended their night with a cup of sweet corn!!! :)

My super duper cutie!!!

Seriously, I don't know if am missing too much of my 2 older kids infant and toddler years, now with me looking after baby on my own, I just can't resist saying my baby is super duper cute!!! I dunno if he's getting irritated with me irritating him all the times, but he's growing up very fast and am missing his infant times... :( when I can cuddle him in my arms for hours!!! He's refusing my cuddles now, always struggling to get out and walk around on his own!! And am feeling his terrible two is 'around the corner'!!!

I just found a way to make him look much cuter!!! That's to remove his shirt and leave if at his head as in the picture!! Haha... And he would try all means to remove the shirt from his head, but many times, he would pulled the shirt back on again!!! Lol...

Found a baby in the toy box!

I always left baby in the playyard playing with his toys while am doing household chores. And one fine morning, I got a shock when I came out from my kitchen... Baby was seating in the half-filled toy box looking innocently at me!!! Haha.. He really look super cute!!
