Adwin's last jab

Adwin finally is scheduled for his last jab today...  This was supposed to have been done during his 16mths old, but as he kept falling sick, so was delay till now, i.e. 20mths old... :p

Anyway, the nurse only pass a remark to note on his weight... no no.. he's NOT overweight... but rather, he should be putting on MORE weight due to his height, he's tall as compared to toddlers of his age, he's in the 90+ percentile! :D

After his check-up, I brought him out with his cousin for some shopping!!  Here's some pics of him & cousin Caden sharing the car ride!! :D 

Cousin Caden can be very cute... he would scream when he saw any car ride in the malls!! hahaha... And refused to go even after a ride!! :p

German Restaurant....

We pop by Vivo City the last Sunday, no particular place we wanna go over the weekend, cos WL was busy with his prelim paper marking...  So we left the house only in the late afternoon and when we reached Vivo, it's about time for dinner...

We could not decide what to have for dinner, had wanted to try the something stone restaurant, but it had closed down!! haha... the new restaurant is serving hot pot, by Jumbo, WL is not a fan of hot pot, so we shall give it a miss... and was walking along the stretch of restaurants on level 1... till we hit this German restaurant, Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant, the smell of the Pork Knuckles did attract US, cos we were REALLY hungry, as we did not have a proper lunch... BUT I had a glimpse, and thought everyone in there having beer... dun think is suitable for us with kids... so we walked past it and hit the Indian restaurant the next, saw that they are serving buffet dinner at an affordable price, BUT we were abit too early... so WL decided to go back to the German restaurant and have a look at their menu... And, next thing was, we were inside! hahaha...

In fact, I was pretty surprised, most of the tables are with children!!  So I guess it was a good choice made, plus the FOOD was SUPERB!! hee hee... or it's been a long time since we had such 'sinful' food!!  But I must admit, the pork knuckle was really nice... I like all the sides served. WL ordered a sausage as well, and the potatoes and wedges were wonderful too!!  Actually I had wanted to try their beer there, but cos am still nursing Adwin, so better not to get him drunk too!! hehehe...

And, my kids were happily eating the wedges!! Did I mentioned 2nd born had recently refused all the porridge that were offered to him?? So, my son was happily eating all the food which I had forbid him to have in the past...

Oh yes, not to forget, the desserts were nice too!! And my 2nd born was busy eating the chocolate cake!! He finished almost 70% of it!!

Problem with my blog....

Ehm, am now facing some problems creating new entry here... it's not giving me the Graphical page when I click on "New Post", and there's no option for me to upload my photos... HOW HOW HOW???... WHO CAN HELP ME??? :(

Hope I can 'figure' it out somehow and update asap... wanna share some photos of my bday and some of my kids update leh... *sob sob*...

Weigh of the kids...

Ehm, I brought the kids to see Doc today, cos both are having running/block nose and cough... Hope they recover over the weekend...

Their weight was taken at the clinic:
Adwin : 11.6kg (as of 14 Aug 09) 20 mths old * no increment compared to May 09!
Ashley: 16.9kg (as of 14 Aug 09) 4years 1-1/2mths old * up by 800g compared to May 09!

Kids on bed...

The kids would ask to watch their favorite show every night before they go to bed... I think we did put our hubstation into good usage in our room! hahaha...

We had bought the tickets to watch the new Hi-5 crew during the coming Sept break. And so I thought to familiarised them with the new crew, I had recorded some episodes from the okto channel during weekdays @ 1230pm. Initally Ashley did reject the new crew, she just keep saying it's not nice... But after awhile, she and Adwin begins to like them and now I must say, they are really addicted to Hi-5!! Especially Ashley, she would get off the bed and dance and sing with them... which makes her very energetic that she only fall asleep close to 12midnight!! Unless I asked her to stop dancing, else I'll switch off the TV, then she'll fall asleep within 10mins! hahaha...

Our beach outing!

We had wanted to bring the kids to Wild Wild Wet during this long weekend break (National day), but too bad, Jiejie was having running nose on Saturday... So I suggest to change to Beach outing, so the kids stay dry while having fun!! I seriously does not understand, what is so nice about the sand... hahaha... But the kids are definitely enjoying themselves so much everytime we bring them to the beach! They can play the whole day with the sand... 1st born will go & fetch water once awhile, but 2nd born is still afraid of the waves... so he makes sure he stay away from it!! As always, we will have our dinner @ Old Town White coffee... we just enjoy the food there, the coffee and especially the Ice-cream with the Toast!! All are so wonderful!! Pardon my photo-taking skills... I always find my HP camera very hard to capture all the shots I want... so... just make do with what is being shown here ok... hahaha... :p

Botanic Gardens

This trip was an unplanned one... We were wandering along the road after our late lunch @ Serene Center and have no idea where to go, and Botanic Gardens were along the side, so WL decided to pop by for a walk... hahaha... 

And the timing is just nice that we can managed to catch the concert in the park!! As its the weekend before the National Day, the theme for the Sunday concert was mainly Singapore songs... I must say it's pretty interesting, we may pop by on some other Sundays when we have no idea where to go!! hahaha... 

The kids seem to be enjoying themselves, but I think next time we must find a less steep place to sit on. As we were pretty scare that Adwin may fall when he try to wander around... 

And as this was an unplanned trip, no food was prepared, except for the porridge which I had brought along for the kids to munch...

We actually left before the concert ends, as we were pretty tired... So, to save our effort of finding another place to eat, WL decided to have our dinner at the restuarant at Botanic Garden... It was a very simple Veg Pizza, but it was very nice... the Calamansi and Lime juice were also very nice!! :D See, WL busy doing up a worksheet for Ashley, so can keep her 'busy' for awhile before the pizza comes up!! :D
