Our lunch at Henri Charpentier @ Dempsey

It's been a long time hubby and me can have a proper quiet fine meal after our children comes along... I do miss such moments... so, children, if you are reading this, know that mummy and daddy had been sacrificing our times for the 3 of you... so, give us some time alone when you grow up ok?! Hahaha...

Hubby decided to go for lunch at this place at Dempsey, serving mainly sweet desserts and cakes... so, we took the effort to meet when our children are in school... 

And here we are... facing some greenery here... With our main dish after our vegetable soup, my ratatouille sandwich and beef cheek with red wine for hubby.... Both are yummy and enough portion to make you full!!! Oh yes, forgot to mention, I ordered an apple juice, which I thought is different from those apple juice available off the supermarket shelf! And my dear had a royal milk tea, which taste just like milk tea!!! Hahaha...

My cake... matcha opera!!! Nice cos it's not too sweet and with a hint of green tea... good choice!!! My hubby had their popular and expensive orange crepes for dessert... he's really liking it but I think it's a bit too expensive... 

A funny shot by my dear hubby... He say this is a 'lomantic' shot wor... hahaha... It was not raining but the store manager had shower the shopfront with water due to the super hot weather...

These are what we bought home... actually we thought the kids would like it... turn out they only like the lemon tart!  Hahaha.. something I wanted actually... but my 2 boys and hubby said the strawberry shortcake... The mont blanc is a tad too sweet for us both... their blueberry cheesecake is very light, which makes it nice and enjoyable...

Overall, we enjoyed our lunch... I guess it's due to the Japanese taking pride in preparing nice food so we would not only enjoy the view of them but feels good after eating them... A quiet and nice place for couples... :)

My oatmeal...

This oatmeal recipe was once popular on facebook and among many friends... And I had since tweaked it to using very simple recipe and my dear hubby had been asking for one almost every week when he's having a super packed schedule and treat this as his lunch... which I thought is much healthier compared to cup noodles or biscuits and sandwiches??

Anyways, glad that my kids are taking a liking too.. Ashley was the first to enjoy this, less so of Adwin.  Adwin is not much of a yogurt person, except for yogurt drink...  And I also realised, even my baby also likes it... but as this is served cold, so I am pretty reluctant to serve him for breakfast... Once awhile if he sees me eating it, he will surely ask for it... 

And this particular morning, I managed to take some shots of him enjoying it... And mind you, no food so far, could entice him to seat on the dining table, except for this oatmeal and he's soooooo enjoying it that he can self feed!!! Winhin minutes, without any prompting from me, he finishes a small cup of it himself, not dripping any out of the cup or the mouth!!!! Soo glad to see him enjoying his food... ;)

My old rocker....

I have got an old fisher price rocker which I had previously kept since my baby Alvan used it abt 2.5 years ago... And recently decided to pass it on to my SIL who had just given birth to a new baby boy... but my kids treat this as though it's something new... haha...

See my 3.5 years old Alvan sleeping on it the day we brought over to my MIL place... 

A super big baby on a rocker... but it's still very steady....

The following 2 photos are of my baby when he's only 4 months old...  so missing his chubbiness...

And this baby is my Adwin when he's 4 months old... After his first hair cut!!!!  Ehm... The 2 brothers really don't look alike... hahaha...
