I often wonder if Adwin is a born engineer... cos he would try to dismantle almost everything he can get hold of... hahaha... see the pic below for the mechanical pencil which he had dismantled... all parts that can be removed are here...
** sorry for the blurness of the pic, cos this was taken under my office desk table... hee hee...

Lantern Festival...
This is something I had wanted to put quite sometime back...
My 2 kids taking their lanterns... hee hee... Adwin trying to imitate what Ashley is doing.

Singapore Flyer
The kids were asking for the Flyer's ride while we were flying kite, as they saw the Flyer from afar. And since we got the Flyer's friend membership, might as well make full use of it!! And the expiry is next year Jan, so I guess we'll try to go for more ride before the expiry...
We didn't know the Flyer was celebrating Hallowen and Ashley had a shock there, after she saw the make-over of a dracula or devil of the crew in the male toilet (WL brought her to pee)... And she was so frightened that she dare not go to the toilet when we were home last night! Feel quite bad about it...
Don't think we had taken the ride during this timing... around 7pm, but we do not see any sunset... but the view is still awsome... cos the IR is like 80%, as in we can see the 3 hotels there and 2 of them had the link bridge up already... really look foward to the IR completion...

Adwin in mummy's office
See, me having a great time there... cos I can have everything I asked for, without jie-jie snatching from me! haha... They have got a big mattress for me there, so I can have my nap...
Another visit to Marina Barrage
Daddy says Marina Barrage is now a place for picnic... So, we decided to go & have a look since the last visit was it's grand opening... hee hee..
Mummy went Chong Pang market to get lots of things for this picnic, while jie-jie having her art lesson, daddy busy with tuition... haha...
Mummy got daddy another butterfly kite, cos she say the big ship kite is so tough to get it up, so hope this super light one is easy!! hee hee... And, she also got some cut fruits, pears, chiku (daddy's fav) & papaya (jie-jie's fav)... And also got some cold herbal bottled drinks, a big box of kueh bolu (**did mummy spell correctly??)... And, mummy also got some coloring books & rolling crayons, she say just in case we are bored... And, she also got me & jie-jie each a bottle of the bubble!!! hahaha... this is interesting, cos she normally dun want me & jie-jie to touch this... hee hee...
But we did have a GREAT time there... daddy fly the butterfly kite up, & he had used up all the strings!!! & after that, he hand me the kite string holder... haha... see the pic below?? & he knows it's tiring just holding onto the holder, he got me a chair!! & mummy gave me a piece of pear to eat too!! Daddy told mummy, some onlookers thought am just putting on a show, holding the holder with no strings attached, but after they look closely... they saw my high flying kite!!! hahaha... everyone was amazed!!! hee hee...
Jie-jie was napping when we reached Marina Barrage... but when she woke up, she was busy with her bubble blowing... & kite flying was secondary to her!! hahaha...
And when we leave for Singapore Flyer around 6pm... we saw lots of kite flyers there... everyone was having a great time!! Daddy & mummy agree this was a very nice place for family, we are sure to drop by again!! hee hee... :D

Poor thumb
I can't imagine I can be so clumsy as to shut the car's door with my thumb still on the car door frame!!! And see how badly I hurt my right thumb!! It was so damn painful... I wish at that point of time I can chop of the injured thumb!! And it's still very painful now (4 hours later) & I had just pop in 2 panadols, hoping to lessen my pain... sob sob...
One will never know how important your thumb is only after you had injured it... even creating this post is painful, cos i need my thumb to hit the SPACEBAR!! & alot of things you do, does require the help of the thumb... haiz... I hope this post will remind me to be mindful of ALL my fingers in whatever things I do...

STOMP
WL had bought this STOMP tickets when they first launch the ticket sales, and the seats were wonderful, really center & I must say, this is one the of show we been that's really worth the $$...
It's really interesting, and the guy can really lead the audience even when he spoke nothing!! With just clapping of hands, he can really lead the audience!! I believe everyone must have enjoyed the show!! Even when all the performers left the stage, everyone were clapping for more!! I would definitely go for it if they were to come again!!
Oh yes, forgot to mention, we had our first try on the "Glutton Square" since they moved over to the Esplanade years ago... & it was quite nice, we (me & WL ONLY) enjoyed our dinner. And we pop by the cafe @ the Library @ Esplanade for a brownie & coffee... wonderful!! haha... considering we only spent $30 for our dinner @ the Esplanade!!

Ashley graduated from Music Wonderland
Ashley finally graduated from one of the class we had signed her up with.... Music Wonderland!! It was a mini concert for the parents on her last lesson... And next week she'll begin her new music class, Yamaha Junior Electone course!! And again, WL will have to go in with her to accompany her through the class. I thought its a good chance for him to 'learn' organ at the same time. Hope we can put our organ into good use since father & daughter are attending the same course this time!
Ashley performance was not fantastic, but I think it was a good exposure for her, we can really see that she likes music, but I feel her forte is not on performing... or is it due to the classmates?? haha... cos, I do see that she's enjoying and performing well in her Tien Siah class... :p
Weight of Adwin...
Adwin is finally putting on some weight!!! Brought him to see Doc Liau again due to his running nose & cough... But lucky it was not very serious, everything under control in a weeks time...
And here's his weight... 12.1kg! :D

QQ2 - Auto Vacuum Cleaner
This is something mummy had wished for for years... Finally daddy say YES to getting one... And mummy was so delighted... after charging it, she 'send' her QQ2 off to work.... hee hee...
According to mummy, this is a better one compared to QQ, the name says it all... QQ2!! haha... This version comes with a docking station and QQ2 is able to go back to the base if it's on low battery while working...
Here's the pic of QQ2...
And this is the amount of dust it collect EVERYDAY!!! Can you imagine?? Without this, we had been breathing in these dust everyday... OMG....
So mummy now have more free time every evening... but she has yet to find time to teach me & jie-jie to read!!!

Chinese Lantern Festival
This was our first year to bring the kids down to Chinatown for the Chinese Lantern Festival... As the actual day falls on the Saturday, so we took this opportunity to go Chinatown to see the light up...
The kids were really tired after the car trip down, as we were held in the jam along CTE that evening... so normally we would be able to reach Chinatown in about 40mins... but it took us more than an hour to reach that evening...
WL took this opportunity to buy the bak-kwa, since it's not the CNY season, so no long queue... but I find it quite expensive for the 1 pc of bak-kwa he had bought... :( BUT, Ashley LOVES it so much!! hahaha...
Sorry to say, the kids did not have the chance to hold the lanterns... hahaha....
Photo in which you can only see the mummy & not the 2 kids...
