Ashley's drawing n writing

Had wanted to post this quite some time ago, but didn't manage to take a good pic of her drawings.

She finally learnt to write the alpha A, the number 1 and be able to draw an apple! And she also managed to learn to draw strawberry from her daddy!

Really looking forward to her writing more things and drawing more interesting things for us! Must say that kids do learn faster in school then us teaching them at home. Haha.

Dinner @ shokudo

We had wanted to try the japanese food @ shokudo weeks ago, but due to the long queue we retreated. Lucky there was no queue last evening we went, so finally get the chance to try.

Ashley was really happy there as they have a small playground for her with her favourite slide there. I was surprised that she managed to eat quite abit even with the playground around.

The serving of the food is quite small, but enough for one person and good for sharing so everyone can try everything without feeling too full after that. But have to say it can be quite expensive.

Adwin first picnic

We had organised an outing for our kids together with our friends to Sentosa on Good Friday holiday. It was quite fun, though very hot.

Ashley was enjoying herself with the sand play. And, my Adwin was busy sleeping! hahaha...

Adwin is really getting so adorable nowadays... he'll talk alot to me in the evening, especially during days when I am working... as though he's telling me what he went thru during the day...

And he'll smile when he heard people calling him "di-di"... haha... guess will have to change to call him by his name soon... can't be calling him "di-di" all the time...

He'll be going for his 3rd month jab tomorrow... had opted for 6-in-1 this time round... cos can pay by the baby bonus... I know he'll be crying the moment the needle pokes him... he's more sensitive than Ashley... can't wait to find out his weight & height during tomorrow's check up! :D

I wanna capture some cute looks of Adwin... He had begin to talk when someone talks to him. I don't remember Ashley starting to talk when she's 2 months old...

And I had also started work from 12 Feb, but working only 3 days a week, taking Monday & Friday offs... so I can at least catch some sleep during my off days... Adwin would talk alot to me when he sees me in the evening... as though telling me what he went through during the day! haha... Interesting...

Swimming with Dolphin

Ashley finally has another swim @ my mum's place since she had fallen sick from last year! I guess it's due to her being sent to the childcare. But hope her body is used to it now and should stop falling sick again...

She's so happy being able to be in the pool again. BUT she had the wrong idea of swimming.. she thought it's the same as having a SHOWER!! And she had twice remove her swim-wear here!! OMG... had a had time trying to ask her to put it on again!!

Her yi-yi had got the Dolphin for her, but seems like the water is getting more attention than the Dolphin itself! But she does recognise the Dolphin! hahaha... Cos we had brought her to the Dolphin show before @ Sentosa last November...

Hope to see her in the pool often.. However, another headache thing which came to my mind is, how to bring her back home after the swim... haiz... she'll be screaming & crying & refuse to go back home after the swim... Hope she gets it soon that after a swim, must go back home & rest...

Our 4th wedding anniversary dinner

First time dine out without our children! This is our celebration dinner for our 4th wedding anniversary! Time files? Not really, a long way to where we are now, especially when we have our lovely kids!

We are @ one of the top 50 restaurants. Tatsuya @ the park hotel, former crown prince hotel. Very nice sashimi they have, and a friendly chef! We enjoyed all the food. And the chef make some handroll for us which we are impressed!

Cheeky ashley

We were @ the Starbucks outside Thomson Plaza after a dinner with our friends. It's a nice and quiet place to meet friends. Believe we will go there again.

Ashley seems to have developed a liking to taking pictures. The above pictures are all taken by her using her mummy's HP... except for those of her pics.. haha... And guess you would have guessed which is her signature posture... YES, hand under your cheek!! She would ask all the people whom she's taking photos for, to have their hand under their cheek! She would show you how to post if you dunno and refuse to press the button if you dun do what she requested. Haha. Daddy was saying what a professional photographer at the age of 2-1/2 years old.

Adwin's 1st CNY

This is Adwin's first Lunar New year celebration!! Need to dress him up nicely to meet all the relatives and friends!! :)

He looks really like a big boy in this new jumper! haha... but it's fun to see him grow daily...

This year's CNY feels livelier with Adwin joining us. And especially when Ashley is such a big girl now, we had taught her to say 'Gong xi gong xi' but doubt she'll say it when she's outside!

Our reunion dinner

We had our reunion dinner @ the Galley by e Straits this year, of cos, with our new addition to the family, Adwin.

The restaurant is inside the yatch club, that's why Ashley had yatch as her background for all the pics!

She had taken a liking to the above posture now, with a hand under her head. So much so that she had requested us to have this posture when she takes pic for us!

A pic of Adwin enjoying the car ride in his car seat. He finds it interesting to be in a ride cos he sees lots of street lamps flashing by him, so he can't sleep! Tat keeps him busy too! Haha. And he looks very comfy in it too!

Adwin full month celebration

Finally Adwin's full month celebration is here! Can't wait for my confinement period to be over!!

Anyway, we have a buffet lunch for our friends and immediate family members only, as we are also having a dinner for relatives...

We had ordered the cake with Mickey & Minnie, so Ashley will not feel left out when we had the cake cutting... she's so happy when she sees her favorite characters on the cake!!

Haha. Our confinement lady use some cornflour powder mixed with water and apply on Adwin's face. Hoping to reduce the rash, but dun seem to work. Haha.

Anyway, this photo was taken after he had his milk and the lady was trying to burp him! Haha...

Our baby boy, Adwin, decided to come out on 12 Dec 2007.

My water bag burst @ around 245am on 12 Dec, so we went to KK straight after dropping ashley @ my mum's place.

But Adwin was delivered only @ 1250pm, which was much later than we expected. As many experienced mummies had said tat for 2nd pregnancy, labour time should be much shorter! And, we didn't expect Adwin to be a heavy weight baby, weighing 3.946kg and 53cm!

Anyway, everyone was happy that Mummy n baby was fine!

Xmas before didi comes

Our xmas before didi comes, taken @ causeway pt. The xmas tree is really huge n tall. Used to be only taka having such big xmas tree but now seems lots of shopping malls are having them.

Bee movie outing!

Guess this shall be our last movie before didi comes along...

This was actually a family event organised by one of our friend, really appreciate it, cos Ashley did enjoy the movie and it also taught her what and how a bee looks like! hahaha... she'll scream "Bee" when she sees something like the one shown in the poster above!

See the turtle in her hand? It's the famous turtle soft toy she had been bringing along with her to the childcare! hahaha... she can't fall asleep with it now... :)

Ashley taking medicine

Maybe I'm the only Mummy who would put up the clip of my precious Ashley taking her medicine! Hahaha... Cos i find it so courageous of her to be able to take medicine this way. I guess it's due to her attending the child care, cos when kids there fall sick, the teachers would feed them that way. So I reckon she learn it from those children. We used to have problem trying to feed her medicine, until now, feeding her medicine is a breeze... BUT, i realized she don't like chinese medicine though!!

But sad to say, she been fed with medicine for 3 weeks already, as her cough is quite persistent with lots of phlegm and these few days her fever is on & off... hope she recovers fast, so will be a happy & healthy jie-jie when her di-di comes in about another 11 days to come.... :D

Daddy's birthday!

Daddy & Mummy went for a nice dinner on 05-Nov, leaving me @ 'nai-nai' place that evening...

But they were complaining that the so-called fine dining place is very noisy! hahaha... too many pple talking @ the same time loudly, so in the end it's like eating @ hawker center but they pay a huge amt for tat dinner! hahaha...

And, the serving is so big, both Daddy & Mummy didn't finished their main course!!

Daddy's steak... (ribeye with bone), he say it's too huge, muz be shared with another person, too bad, mummy dun take steak... they were joking to have it take-away the balance for daddy's lunch the next day! hahaha... but daddy's quite sick of the steak oredi!! Dun think he can still take it the next day! hahaa...

And this is mummy's salmon's steak!! it's also very HUGE! hahaha... & mummy say first time she was asked how should the salmon be done? hahaha... Daddy say, shd ask for RAW salmon, so it becomes sashimi! hahaha... But mummy asked for 'well-done'!! And initial few bites were very nice... but too much... becomes... ehm... gross??... hahaha...

And this is Daddy's complimentary birthday cake for this year from the restaurant!! it's the only thing they say is NICE! hahaha... cos of the nice chocolate and the vanilla icecream (from the famous H.... D...) :D

As for how old is Daddy this year... I think better to leave it to daddy to tell u guys! hahahaha... Happy Birthday Daddy!!! :D

Daddy & Mummy had been talking about going to eat @ the Beach Road hawker center for a long long time.. but never ever made it! hahaha...

But on this sat (03-Nov), they finally brought me there for lunch!!

We had the popular Terikayi Chicken set meal, the Prawn & Pork ribs noodles, waffles with belgian chocolate dip, a coconut & a sugar cane juice!! I love all of them, esp the chocolate dip! hahaha...

See, I can even pose for mummy while eating my waffle with the chocolate dip!!

Mummy was enjoying her coconut, cos she's in her last trimester and many other aunties had told her can eat coconut now so when my di-di comes out, he'll be very clean! hahaha.. but Mummy says she although she didn't eat coconut when she was expecting me, I still come out clean clean one leh... :p

And am also enjoying the sugar cane juice... it's really nice & cold! :D See how I posed with Daddy... hahaha.. sorry lah, I was peeping @ dad when mummy pressed her camera!! I juz wanna make sure Daddy is having the same pose as me mah! :p

Daddy came and pick me up from the childcare and he say we will be going to pick Mummy from work and go out for dinner! :D

Since me & daddy were early, we went to Isle Cafe for some chee cheong fun and daddy had a cup of tea... cos I finished up his chee cheong fun! hahaha.. it's really tasty with the sweet dark sauce!! hope to try again next time! :D

And, I saw Yakult in the fridge @ one of the mama shop there! Daddy was nice to get me a bottle! hahaha.. yummy, my favorite beverage... but mummy say am getting a cough liao, so had asked Daddy to stop giving me tat... sob sob...









See, do I look like Daddy??!! Mummy always say both of us are like 'ang ku kueh' looks exactly alike! hahaha :p

First swim @ Popo's new house!

Po-po & gong-gong just moved over to the new house with yi-yi & yi-zhang. And there's a swimming pool in front of their house!! heehee... so happy u know, I can go swimming whenever I go over liao!! And this is my first swim there with yi-yi... it's really so fun since I last swam! haha...

But, I vomitted after about 10mins of water-play... Mummy say I muz had drank some pool water that's y... also because I was eating before the swim, haha.. so had my orange, red bean soup & even my rice taken during lunch threw out! yucks!!

Anyway, while I was having a good time, yi-yi insisted to bring me up oredi!! so besides struggling in her arms, I managed to give her 2 big bites on her shoulders! hahaha... :p Hope I can go swimming more often now! hee hee...

We went to the Sembawang Park on Saturday!! I love to blow bubbles nowadays... so Daddy & Mummy brought me there to blow! hahaha... but dunno why always no bubbles come out when i blow!... Mummy keep saying I blow @ the wrong direction.. ehm... shall keep on trying.. hahaha..

And here's my clip on my first try on the swing! hahaha... Initially I was still enjoying.. but guess Mummy had pushed the swing too hard so I was swinging quite high up... ended up I got frightened... hahaha....

Shopping with Daddy & Mummy

Mummy post lots of things today hor!! haha...

Yesterday, Mummy went for her 32nd week gynae check up, & Daddy was having his Hari Raya Public Holiday make up, so they picked me up from the Child care early today to go shopping and have dinner @ Junction 8!!

Daddy bought HD Macadamia Ice cream, & it's really yummy!! Look @ our expressions!! hahaha...

Anyway, Mummy & Daddy was really surprised yesterday morning (Monday - 15 Oct) when they dropped me off @ the Child care!! Cos according to Mummy, first time since 2 Oct, I did not make up a fuss! hahaha... And I even say bye-bye to Daddy & Mummy happily after I removed & put my shoe on the shoe rack!!

And teacher Aishah even commented to Daddy & Mummy that I was a real good gal yesterday, I managed to sit thru all the lessons and can let my fav turtle take a rest! hahaha...

Another thing, Mummy would laugh loudly whenever I say "mian" and "no" to her!! Cos I learn the word "no" from teachers and now I truly understand what it means & how powerful it is!!! And mummy find it really funny hearing this "No" coming out of my mouth!! And also, I know how to ask for the food I want and like now!! Especially when I had a liking for noodles!!! So I'll shout for "mian" whenever Mummy ask me what I wanna eat! :p

Ashley's new bed!

Daddy finally managed to fix up my new Spongebob Bed for me!! Mummy has asked uncle ah hoe to bring this back from the states (Texas, Wal-mart) for me!! hahaha... thank you uncle ah hoe!! Mummy was so happy when uncle ah hoe told her he managed to get it back for her!!

Anyway, Daddy got blister on his palm after fixing the bed up!! He had warned Mummy not to get such things for him again! Hahaha...

But, Daddy & Mummy had a hard time trying to get me sleep on it!! Cos am used to the cot sleeping next to Mummy then sleeping alone on this bed!!



Daddy & Mummy got me this new bed so my didi (little bro) can sleep in the cot, as he's a little baby, will need to sleep in the cot so it's safer for him, tat's wat Mummy told me... BUT I still dun quite get it!! Cos cot is where I slept for 2years liao!! :p

First blog on video!

Hahaha... this is my first try posting a video clip of Ashely in the blog!! In fact this clip was not intented as I had wanted to just take it as a picture with my HP! Cos I find her so cute with the red specs found in the GP when Ashley went to see the doc due to a lump found in her left eye (taken on 16 Sept 07)!! Also we went to pay for her full day child care fees before her visit to the GP...

Ashley going to Full day Child Care

2nd October was MY first day to Child Care!! Initially I was still quite happy about going to school, but not when I'm there alone...

This is the blur look on me when I first arrived @ the center. Daddy & Mummy were just standing in front of the cupboards looking @ me. I was busy roaming around the center, cos it's a new environment and also interesting to see other children coming in randomly. And mummy says I look so cute in my new uniform! :D

Daddy & mummy left the center quietly during my breakfast. They also went for their breakfast, but without telling ME... So mummy's guess was I had a shock that I found out I was left there alone. And when daddy & mummy were back from their breakfast, mummy saw me crying in the class... this was the pic mummy took secretly while Teacher Jac trying to comfort me... Mummy was very sad cos when she saw me crying, I was left standing there with my soft toy turtle and no teachers were comforting me!! Then daddy went to ask Teacher Jac to look after me... And mummy came in to the class after my crying saga! hahaha... And mummy decided to bring me back home after my shower, cos I refused to sleep in the center! :D

This is my favorite kitchen set in the Child Care from day 1! And mummy took this when I was happily playing on it cos she's with me in the center on the 1st day!!

But on my 2nd day, she secretly left me there alone again... sob sob... However, I managed to survive my full day!! hahaha... of cos, I need to have my fav turtle soft toy with me!! And heard from mummy, po-po came & peep at me too... And po-po keep saying am fine there @ the center...

But mummy say, I was so happy @ the end of the day, I ate too much during dinner & she bought me a piece of strawberry cake to reward me for being a nice gal in the center, after 2 mouthful, I vomitted!! But daddy & mummy not around @ nai-nai place, so they dun see what I had threw out!! Mummy so heart-pain... hahaha... my mummy will have heartache whenever she see me cry!!

However, on my third day, mummy left me at the center the moment I stepped in!! So i cried from 8.30am till 12pm & mummy very heart-pain, so I left the CC @ 12pm! hahaha...

And on Friday, mummy went into the center with me from morning till my nap!! But I had been trying to ask her to bring me back home, even I cry she also refused!! So she told everyone, I had to learn thru the hard way liao, daddy & mummy will leave me @ the center when they bring me there, cos I cry even if they are around too!! Poor me... hope I can adjust to the routine in the center...
