Horrible virus...

Baby had been having diarrhea for 4 days now... He's greatly affected by it cos he's always seen lying on the mat and been falling asleep on his own on a few occasion... And we are bringing him to see another doc since I feel he's not improving and he's not been eating due to this...

Ashley started her diarrhea and vomiting this morning too!  Meaning baby's virus had pass to her!!!  And the bad thing is, tomorrow is a public holiday and we have to stay home as the kids are not feeling well... Oh god... This is bad bad bad... And Ashley will have to be prepared for her end year exams starting next week!!! Ah!! I am only praying for the 2 to recover fast and back to eating normally!!!

Baby having stomach flu...

Baby is sick suddenly... He had his first diarrhea at about 8pm on thurs night, right after his dinner... I was careless as I should have noticed his stools were really watery as it leaked onto his pants before I could washed him.  And at 1:25am, he had another round of diarrhea in his sleep and it soiled his bed and actually the smell was really bad, I was too tired thinking it was either baby or WL releasing a super smelly fart!! Until WL got up to the loo and woke me up saying bb had wet his bed terribly with his watery stools! So we got up immediately and cleaned him, when I brought some soiled clothings to the back, baby who was on our bed, vomited!! I got a shock coming back to a bed of vomits!! So, my busy night began! I changed baby's bed sheet follow by our bed sheet... And was trying to make him sleep at about 2:30am, he vomited another time onto our bed!!!  So, another change of our bed sheet again... And by the time everything is done, it's 3am!!! 

After I brought Adwin to school, off to PD we went... And Doc Foo said its most probably stomach flu that caused all these and he should he ok by tomorrow...

My baby spent the day lying on the play mat and first time for him to fall asleep here on his own!!!  He must had been really tired from all the diarrhea episodes... Poor boy... Really hope he can get better tomorrow... As of now, coming to 11pm, he's still having fever, slightly subsided from the high fever earlier at 38.5 deg... And he vomited another time at 720pm...

Shoo the horrible virus.... Baby get well soon...

Baby recovered from viral infection

Recently, baby had 2 days of high fever suddenly! And brought him to see the Doc Ooi and confirmed its just viral infection causing the high fever, lucky nothing else!!! And he did warn about baby getting some measles like spots after the fever... Here they are!! Am just glad he's fine after this!!!! Praying for a healthy baby once again!! :)

Weight of the kids...

As usual, got the weight of my 2 kids from visit to the doc...

Adwin: 13.1kg
Ashley: 17.4kg

Am glad my 2 kids are putting on weight.. hee hee... especially Ashley, as she's been super picky on her food recently, most of the time, she's only eating plain rice or porridge... she only eat veg or fish from all the coaxing when she's eating at my mum's place... cos her yiyi & yizhang will try to say all sorts of things to make her eat the veg or fish...

And yes, finally Adwin got his pneumococcal vaccine today!!  Had intend to bring him for the vaccine after he turns 2, as during Ashley's time, after 2 years old, the kid will only need to have 1 jab for it, but recently MOH had listed this as one of the compulsory vaccine for all babies, so long babies after 1 year old, only 1 jab is required! And according to the doc, so long kid is not having fever, they can have the vaccine!  And Ashley kind of had a shock after seeing didi taking the jab, he was crying so badly after the jab! :(

Urinary Tract infection

Adwin got UTI on Tuesday... we got no idea how he got it... and it was only after my MIL found a little swelling at the tip of his genital and he cried when he need to pee... And upon arrival at the PD, then daddy know he got quite a high fever of 38.4!! After a day of antibiotics, he looks okay and fever seems to be under control, but I still insists on feeding him paracetamol, so his fever won't be back for the time being... Hope he gets well soon... :(

Jiejie down with HFMD again!!

aiyo... my Ashley jiejie is down with HFMD (hand foot mouth disease) AGAIN!!! Mummy & daddy were so upset...

And since tuesday, me & mummy had been sleeping over @ popo's house... leaving Daddy & jiejie @ home... accordingly to mummy, jiejie need to be quarantine so won't pass the germs to me... BUT, popo say am feeling feverish today... Daddy says hope am juz feeling feverish... hope I dun fall sick again... cos I HATE all the medicine!! sob sob....

Adwin down with stomach flu...

Adwin was down with stomach flu on Monday.... & I also didn't realized it was so serious till later in the day...

He would throw up the moment he finished his milk... besides throwing up, he's also having diarrhea.. and very surprisingly, his motion is white in color!! First time in my life to see white motion... And the next day (tues), he's down with fever.... OMG... terrible week this is...

And, can feel his lightness after a few days of vomiting & diarrhea.... hope he recovers faster and see his weight going up... he's been stopping at 10+kg since 5-6mths till now (11mths old)... guess he's now down to 9+kg after this round of stomach flu...

In fact, I guess all these flu start with ME about a month back... when I almost recovered, Adwin got it... just when he's recovering, daddy got it and Ashley also had stomach flu... and when she recovered, Adwin got it... & am down with flu again... OMG... Oct & Nov had been such a terrible time for us... trying to keep everyone healthy & fit for our Dec cruise... :D
